This website was born out of the idea of a space to practice the basics of qualitative research. There are so many great online resources, books and papers available; however, there is not much in terms of ‘how’ to conduct basic qualitative research. This informal practice space will develop over time. Qualitative Cafe is not directly affiliated with any organisation.

About Carlee
As a psychology lecturer at the University of Liverpool, my research interests are varied; however, my primary publication record focuses on the psychosocial impact of rare paediatric lung diseases.
I love anime, nature, cosmology, reading Sci-Fi/Fantasy and cooking/baking. I am often in my head; hence my lean toward qualitative research.
